Had my first-ever experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! Tried both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options — every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, and the ambience made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I’d highly recommend!

Being a former Michelin starred restaurant, Tamarind still lives up to the hype and serves amazing and delicious Indian food Our dinner started off with a pre-appetizer of sorts that was a flaky pastry with tomato and mozzarella in it served with spice yoghurt chutney We got the Bhurwan Kumbh, which is a stuffed mushroom appetizer. It was a very rich and decadent dish with a savory filling of Paneer, Aloo and Cheese For mains, we went down the classic road and order Paneer Pasanda, Daal Makhani, Garlic Naan and Laccha Paratha Every dish was flavorful and the breads were really amazing and fresh

We had a wonderful experience at Tamarind Tribeca while celebrating my uncle’s 70th birthday. Our party consisted of 18 guests, and both the food and service were outstanding. The staff was attentive, professional, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Special appreciation goes to the reservation team for thoughtfully accommodating our vegetarian requirements. The menu and arrangements were well planned, making the experience enjoyable for everyone in our group. The only downside was that a gratuity of $420 was automatically added to the bill. While we understand service charges for large parties, it would have been preferable to have gratuity offered as an option rather than pre-applied, allowing guests the flexibility to tip at their discretion. Aside from this, everything was excellent. Thank you to Tamarind Tribeca for helping make this celebration memorable.

We took advantage of NYC restaurant week to visit this establishment, for lunch, on a Saturday afternoon. The food was absolutely incredible, such flavor. The service was excellent. They also have an impressive selection of original and creative cocktails. We would definitely return!

Had high expectations going into the place because I heard great things about this restaurant. It is pretty popular and famous. The food was good, maybe even great Indian food. Don’t get it wrong but I think my expectations were just too high. It felt like decent Indian food where I was expecting something spectacular. The dishes didn’t really stand out. The service and atmosphere were nice. Also ate with my uncle who is cool. My Beli gave it a 7.5 and I think this is accurate for Indian food but might put it a bit lower just because I’m not the biggest fan of Indian food. I do like it but I feel like it can get repetitive and I with there was more meat in the dishes. Overall, solid spot.

I had reserved a corporate dinner for 15. It was a fixed menu and a great experience. The variety of choices for all preferences (vegetarian, vegan and others) was great and the food was delicious.

Their lunch special includes an appetizer, two entrées and a dessert. Really good deal. The food has flavor but not necessarily Indian flavor, at least on some of the dishes. It's a good place overall.
